The Port of Salalah is one of the few ports in the world capable of handling the world’s largest container vessels and is even ready to welcome the a future generation of container ships. Port of Salalah is also one of the fastest growing terminals in the West Central Asia region. With the opening of a fifth deepwater berth in May 2007 and the completion of Berth 6 May 2008, the Container Terminal’s annual capacity has increased to 4.5 million TEU.
